Some invitations and provocations...

I have been very busy with my little munchkins... I am following some of the great bloggers and digging up the Pinterest to start up our inquiry journey. I like the idea of invitations and provocations... Here are some of the ideas I found on the Pinterest that I thought I should try... And guess what they worked like a charm...

My First Freebie:-)

As one of my classroom managements technique, I will be using the well known book Have You Filled a Bucket Today?  There are lots of ideas floating around, but I really like the idea of Warm Fuzzies  by Mel (Check out her blog!)

I made this sign to put on our class transparent bucket that I found at Dollarama. The bucket picture is from Jessica's Joy in the Journey blog. Enjoy!

Pointers for little hands...

Five years ago, I went to a Kindergarten course presented by our federation. I still go back to the ideas that were presented during that mini course. I will be implementing Daily 3 in my Kindergarten Classroom and for Read to Self and Read with Someone, I created these cute little pointers... Cheap and fun!
The crafty creatures are from Dollarama.

Getting Started!

This year will be my second year in Full Day Kindergarten and I'll be teaching Senior Kindergarten. I have been reading lots of great books and resources to enhance my teaching and my classroom environment. I have been religiously following some great teacher bloggers and getting lots of ideas from them.

My goal for this blog is to share some ideas, learn from my fellow teachers and to seek your help and feedback as I transform my classroom and reflect on my teaching practices. I hope you will come along with me while I play, explore and inquire with my Kinder Friends!
